number one,two etc. cylinders?

well the old 110 died on two cylinders after a few years....iboats helped me fix that one heres the new motor rebuild ...stupid question ---- >j90pleeb 4 cylinder ? cant remember which is number one and so fourth. i know this has been answered before , but i have been searching and cant find...

The uppermost one is #1. That shoud be the one on the starboard side. You'll notice that one bank is a little more than an inch lower than the other.

right on willy thanks ...with that model number j90pleeb <--- is it safe to saythat this is a 60* looper v4....? just a lil unsure ... the piston tops are different than my 1989 110 v4 (which i always thought was a looper,but have read recently that it is a crossflow)...jus lil confused thank again =)
