I finally had a chance to get on the water yesterday, and was wondering if someone could check these numbers to see if they sound about right, or if I should consider a different prop size:

Boat is a 1995 Sea Ray Sundancer 250 w/ Mercruiser 5.7 L. carb 250 HP. Leg is a Bravo 2, spinning an aluminum 3-blade 17.5x23 mercruiser prop.

At 3200 RPM, GPS speed is 22-23 Kts. WOT gives 4500 RPM, GPS speed 38 kts.

Light load, on the plane in about 4-6 seconds.

Expert opinions appreciated!

I'm no expert but it sure sounds good to me.
Does it have trim tabs?

Bennett tabs. Full nose down loses about 3-4 knots, stays on plane until about 18-20 @ 2800 rpm. Nose up on plane at 2800-3000 at 20-22 kts. Takes about 2 sec. longer to get on-plane w/ tabs nose-up. For normal cruising, I put tabs nose up, then trim for level once on the plane. Seems to give the best speed & ride.
