2000 Mercury 225 EFI kills @ w.o.t. after 45 secs.,starts right back up and does exact same thing. Fuel pressure is apprx.30psi.

Rebuild the mechanical fuel pump as it sounds like it has low volume..

Little brother that would make me happier than a puppy w/ two peters,not to mention feel a bit foolish.None the less, I will check that out asap!Hopefully the K.I.S.S. method works,let cha know!

the pressure was ckecked without the engine running so the mechanical pump shouldn't have any effect on it correct?
