O-ring size?

I have one last question (hopefully) before I get my old FD-12 up and running again.
I need to replace the O-rings in the fuel/air line connector, the old ones were badly perished and came out in little pieces, so I can't see what size they were!
I tried a couple of car accessory shops, a hardware store, and two local chandlers one of which is an OMC dealer, but none of them had anything suitable. These seem to be a special size, "fatter" than a regular O-ring, does anyone know what size they are meant to be? I need both internal and external diameters.

Hi Petrol
The I.D.(inside dia.) is .197 the width is .137 these measurements are in inches. The OMC dealer should be able to order them for you, OMC part#301824.

Re: O-ring size?

Cheers alcan, as I suspected the ones I'd been offered weren't wide enough, typically only around 0.075".
That i.d. of 0.197" is rather larger than I expected, but I'm sure you're right!
I guessed the OMC dealer could order them, trouble is OMC parts have to be ordered from Belgium, and they charge around $4.50 to do that which is probably more than the cost of the rings! From experience delivery is slow too, I think I may just get them from a US supplier which will probably be quicker and cheaper too.
