Last fall we had just put the boat on the trailer, and had pulled up to finish unloading. This guy and his wife come to get their boat, he turns the rig around and backs it into the water, and runs to get the boat. The wife gets into the truck and waits. After he gets the boat the trailer (small open bow) he yells at her to pull up. She starts up the ramp, but he is not happy with the way the boat is on the trailer, so he starts screaming for he to stop.
She can't hear, (window closed, radio on) so keeps on doing, now he is really screaming.
Next, he picks up a small oar he has in the boat and heaves it as hard as he can, and blows out the back window of his new SUV. She stops.....
Everyone is watching this idiot, and he is so upset, he jumps in the truck and drives away with the boat half on, half off the trailer. He even leaves his little oar on the ramp.
So I run over and pick up the oar. It now lives on the back wall of my Tiki bar, and is now named, "Stopppppp... Oar else!!!" :D

Re: Oar Else!!!!

I'll bet his wife doesn't go out boating with him any more. Impatient people shouldn't be boaters, I think. Too many chances to lose your temper.

I agree, but would add the letters EX before the word wife!

Re: Oar Else!!!!

These types are all over.

Across from us is a public boat ramp that jet ski rentals outfits would use. One day we watched a middle-aged couple trying to get on a pair. The guy did okay, but his wife was having some problems with her balance. That and she couldn't get back on without going back to the ramp. Since these are rented by the hour, he was calling her everything thing but young, smart, and thin. Eventually she got back on and stayed on. So he heads out full bore, in a no wake cove, and straight into the waiting arms of the water patrol. The blue mat gets flipped over the side and the officer motions the guy over. Meanwhile mama is slowly motoring out past the mouth of the cove, never once looking directly at her husband and guns it. The water patrol must of had him there for a good half hour checking every little thing he could.

Karma can be a biotch.
