Howdy Folks,
I own a 1979 Carlson Glastron with a Mercury115 in line 6. I had to remove the carbs for cleaning (got about a shot glass full of crud from each of the bottom two) Anyhow, I managed to break the plastic throttle arm that links the top carb to the second one:facepalm:.
I've searched a couple of parts suppliers with no luck.

Does anyone have any suggestion as to where to find this part or an alternative.

I sure do appreciate any help with this!

Well, I tried Crowleymarine at the link you suggested and the part is listed as obsolete. Then crowley suggested Thayer in CT. I spoke with a very friendly parts gal there and she didn't have it either. She did a search of all mercury dealers by part number and again, nothing.
I can't believe a little piece of plastic is going to deadline my motor.

That part was used on lots and lots of inline 4 and six motors. I would think any salvage yard will have one. Where are you located?

Re: ObsoleteThrottle Linkage

Thanks for the reply's. I'm in eastern Oregon with no local salvage yards.

chum1, thanks for the links, however the part I'm looking for is the coupling not the choke arm. It's part #53720A2. I did check ebay for that with no luck. There are several carburetors on ebay with the piece attached but I think I'd try to fabricate something before I'd go that route.

Update: I just heard back from a salvage yard in California that has one and its on the way:D Thanks for all your help everyone!
