Hey all - I'll be taking ownership of a boat in the spring that wasn't winterized in the fall. So I know I'll be in for some work to be done on it, but I'm not sure what I should do. It's another Force 85 (ahahaha, I own one now, I'll have two in May!!).

Here's what I know.

Remove plugs, spray fogging oil, turn over without plugs in.
Replace plugs.
Change lower gear lube.
Check all lines and filters.

What about the gas, what should I do with that?

Anything else?

Thanks!

Ry.

I would discard the gas and purge the fuel lines. Also make sure after fogging cylinders that you turn over "by hand " a few rotations before cranking.Pump some fresh triple guard grease in your zirks on the tilt bushings and swivel bracket.Probably wouldn't hurt to drain the carb bowls as well.Good luck with your newly acquired motor.
