Re: Ocean access from Sugarloaf Lodge

been there, done that. we stayed at the sugarloaf koa. really nice spot! depending on what time of year, the water can be anything froma mild chopp to severely bad....

to get to the ocean(atlantic) just go under the bridge... we had a 23 foot dusky center console and it was fairly easy ride to the reefs for snorlking. water gets fairly deep, we were at the reef in about 20-30 feet deep, and crystal clear by the way

Re: Ocean access from Sugarloaf Lodge

I was looking to stay there (sugarloaf lodge)for the lobster opener.. I called and they told me the channel there was 24 inches deep at low tide... not enough for me. I also was informed the dockage was all but non existant.
