Ocean Pro water pump so far so good

E200TXEO Removed gearcase, replaced water pump assy. Now it's time to re-install. Looks pretty straight forward. Only one question: Manual says to put gearcase in forward before re-install. Does not mention shifter at helm. Should this also be in forward?

If you haven't adjusted your shift cable or turned the shift rod then you really don't habve to worry about what gear the shifter is in. When you hook the shift rod back up to the shift linkage it will be right.

Thanks Walker. I'm going to replace the Thermostats while I'm at it. those nipples are plastic, huh? I'll bet they break easy....sigh
