I have a 1994 Oceanpro that has been rebuilt and running great up untill last week.
My boat sunk (but the motor didnt go all the way down) I bumped the key 2-3 times before realizing there was some water in the lower cylinders. After getting it home, I gave it a good wash. After fogging the crap out of it, and letting it sit open for a day I got it running again on a can of premix.
My question is after I got it running, it started breaking and chipping the flywheel magnets off. I understand this is a common problem for them to come unglued, but this is whole PIECES of them.
Is this just a 'it was bound to happen' thing or is this a sign of a bigger problem? (bent crank)? I would really like to know before I go slam a 500$ flywheel on there and find out I have larger problems!
