I have an 85 Evinrude 15HP motor and am curious as to what octane rating is correct to use.
i.e. 87 Regular, 89 Mid-grane, 91 Super
Any thoughts or ideas?

For those whose measuring gear does not have a "%" scale (just about everybody ) , that would be 50:1, fuel : oil.

My 85 factory sales brochure has this to say about your engine's fuel requirements: it can use lead-free, leaded regular or gasohol, so long as it is at least 86 octane. (excepting the V6 and V8 products lines)
