Re: odd1 please help

Shakespear, i had the best intentions of looking up the spec, but I forgot.... almost all merc inline motors need a minimum of .004
"....a max of .012".........vary the brass shims on the end caps to change it...

thanks so if i have 5 thou and the tollerance is 4-12 thou how come the reed carriers got smashed?
also found 1x reed carrier clamp bolt to have come a way the nut was sat in bypass port and the bolt sat on top of small end (so lucky it did no damage).
That aside still having problems getting bits
and desperatly need a manual number.

Hi Shakespeare,
Here in the states we have an aftermarket series of manuals through a company called Seloc. They're pretty good manuals and the one for your motor is: SE-65 up to 1992, and SE-86 for 1990-1994. They may have revised them again since my catalog came out.
- Scott
