Well after the warranty runs out it won't make a bit of difference, but I just replaced my power pack and it was oem and it was 26 years old, as a matter of fact so were the coils.
On the same note I have used Sierra products without any problems, and the majority of the aftermaket sellers are selling Sierra parts but under their own label.
In some cases I have found some aftermarket products to be an improvement over OEM and in other case, not so much. It kind of comes down to personal preference, some will say OEM is the only way to go and others won't.
