So I went to my favorite lake for some fishing. Lauched the boat and was gone for about four hours. When I got back, someone had stolen the two rusty old stop/turn/tail lights from my trailer!<br /><br />What the heck? Two brand new tires on the thing. A brand new winch and tongue jack, and they steal taillights, of all things...and ones I was about to replace anyhow.<br /><br />Anyone else have a stolen stuff at the ramp story?

The answer is someone needed lights. Not tires or a tongue jack. <br /><br />That sux.

hold on, ain't that just common courtesy? need something for your trailer, take it from another. the next guy does the same & on down the line. only the last guy off the lake has a real problem.

That is about it....they needed lights for their trailer because they are IDIOTS!<br />They forgot to unhook their lights when they backed their boat/trailer into the water. <br /><br />I had my brand new magnetic lights stolen out of my truck while I was boating. I was only out for couple hours. <br />I'll catch em some day! They WILL pay!

Well we had the gas tank stolen out of are truck one day while fishing.

Never had any thing stolen, but some one once left a cooler and sun glasses on our trailer.....we just left them at the rangers’ station by the launch ramp.

Many years ago I fished Occoquan Reservior in VA from a SportYak. I powered it with the smallest electric I could find and used the battery out of my Mercedes Diesel for the motor.<br /><br />Came back to be told that the launch owner had busted a guy trying to steal my car!
