# of Poles on 2000 Johson 130

I need to set my tach for the proper number of pulses. Is the 2000 130 a twelve pole meaning a setting of six on the back of the Tach?

I am pretty sure that is correct. As far as I know all modern 4 and 6 cyl, OMC are set at 6.
