Okay, did the preparation for winterizing... filled up the fuel-tank (20 gallons full), tipped in the appropriate amount of fuelconditioner and took off at moderate speed. Three minutes out the alarm goes off, went off the throttle...checked oil (still 5 cm approx 1 liter there). So mystified....does my motor sense something is wrong...was it the fuel-conditioner, is it overheating at 3000rpm, did I jiggle some wires...WHAT ? Put the thinkingcap on and found that a little bow-up might put the sensor in the oil tank in " low-oil" position. Try-out..put on the gas, bow goes up, I look back at the tank and presto Whoop Whoop!! Was the coppers however wanting to know why I was speeding. Talked my way out of that with a demonstration (thank God the alarm went of!!) Got oil, filled up the tank, took a look around and a spin, perfect No alarm!! Mucho satisfied with this brainpower, the mind being stronger that matter etc.etc. I went back, tied the boat up, put on the cover and the minute I did the last clip I heard my mobile phone drop in the water. Could follow its decent to the bottom where it blinked 3 times and died a most horrible death. Just out of arms reach...had to borrow a little net on a stick from a young guy (3 yr.stickle-back-hunter). His mom comes along demanding to know what I was doing with her son's net. Had to confess quick to this 300-pounder as she carried a rake.<br />Moral of the story " If your winterizing your engine beware of tickets and rakes and be prepared to be laughed at"<br />Humbled and phoneless<br />Frank
