Oil alarm????

I am getting the no oil alarm on a 89 evinrude 110 alarm. 1/2 second alarm going off every second i have pulled the oil hose off the bottom of the VRO no restrictions between the oil tank and the VRO and if i take the output hose off the top of the VRO and pump it into a clear container it looks like its definitely getting a decent mix any ideas on how to shut this up lol i have a new VRO for it but dont wanna replace it if thats not the problem

yes the tach works the tach beat up and when the motor is off it reads 800rpm but when u start the motor it raises to about a grand which my timing light/tach says 983rpm so its working and revs up when u rev the motor just it wont go lower then 800 lol
