What is the correct oil and gas mixture for this motor? Thinking of bypassing the automatic oiler.

50:1 or 1 pint of oil to 6 gallons of gasoline. Why do you want to disconnect the oil injection system? If you have a permanantly installed gas tank you should use the injection system. Any doubt in the system, do a system check or take it to a quality repair shop.

strong concerns about the reliability of an oiler. much more confident in knowing that the mix is right if I do it.
