I have an 09 8 hp 4 stroke and want to start doing some of the routine maintenance on it. Apparently these ( made by Tohatsu ) motors do not have an actual oil filter, but rather an oil strainer. The manual says nothing about how to change them or if they need to be changed.(or where they are located) Anyone have any info on this?
