I just received my new oil: power steering cooler. The problem I'm having now is my old hose ends aren't the correct size and I can't seem to find anyone that will make me a new hose. The hose I need needs to have s 1/2" inverter flare end that goes to the cooler and the other end of the hose needs to have a 5/8" pipe thread. Does anyone know of s place that sells replacement hoses?

ericcarr200, do you have a NAPA auto parts store in your area? If so, they make hoses and could possible make one like you need. I know the one around where I live does those things. So I am assuming they all do as well. :noidea:

Yeah I've driven all around here and the problem I'm having is finding someone that has that 1/2" inverted flare male end.

the inverted flare fitting uses an adaptor to go from pipe thread to flare so change the adaptor to fit your hoses

new oil: power steering cooler
power steering coolers are clamped on not threaded, Transmission coolers are threaded.
Remote engine oil coolers are what your describing.

The oil adapter isn't the issue. It's the fitting on the new cooler. They're different than the old one.

Yes there's make flare ends in that side but it's the 1/2" inverted male ends that's threads into the cooler itself that's the issue.
