Hi Guys,
I have a 2004 Volvo 4.3gl-d. Starting to get prepared to winterize it. There are the threads on the top of the oil tube. Also the oil extractor that I have has both the threaded adapter and the tube that can be inserted into the dip stick. Is there a preferred method to get the most oil out? Or are they both about equal?
Also we put on about 20 hours a year, mostly just sightseeing (5 mph). Is the Volvo synthetic oil still required? Or is there a less expensive one that will help protect that won?t hurt as much to get rid of on a yearly basis?
Thank in advance for your help.
