I think my Suzuki DF6 6hp 4 stroke doesnt have any of those filters. Should i get somethings for preventive cares? Any other recommendations on preventive care would be great, as i am new to boating.

UPDATE: Acctually it has a tiny fuel filter and an oil filter :D Just found after searching through the parts list at a suzuki online store. Made me worried as i thought i had to be super careful if it didn't have any filters. Still need help on preventive maintenance.

Thanks

I think I would still run an inline filter, since I putr one on mine I haven't had a single carb problem.

Mine is actually an inline filter. Are you talking about gas & water seperator/filter? I want to install one but i haven't been able to find the one for my engine, yet.

Ya I meant an inline filter.

Don't know about the seperator but I am pretty sure they are universal, a Yamaha one won't know it supplying gas to a Suzuki.

Well, i meant one that would fit the gas line and should be small enough to be inside the cowl.
