oil filter wrench size?

i have a BF30 that needs a cap style oil filter wrench to change. i took the new filter to NAPA and Fleet farm and couldn't find a wrench to fit. the honda wrench is part # 07HAA-PJ70100 according to the service manual but they don't give the size. anybody know what size wrench it is?

Just use a small filter strap wrench or a piece of rope and a stick. A large set of channel logs will do it. Upon installation, just put it on as tight as you can by hand and you won't have any problems. Just make sure you put oil of the new gasket on the filter,

Or buy the overpriced, though hard-to-locate-in-parts-stores, Factory wrench. The Tohatsu-sized wrench fits Yamahas as well, FWIW.
