oil/gas mixture questions

I just purchased a '74 Evinrude 50HP Outboard and I have no clue what the oil/gas mixture is. Is it 50:1 or something else?

50:1 is correct. That works out to 1 pint (16 oz.)of oil to 6 gals. gas.<br /><br />Do yourself a favor and score a manual for your engine.<br /><br />c/6<br /><br />Hooty
