oil in the run barrel????

heres one for you I ran my 1990 force 50hp in a barrel today and there was some oil residue on top of the water not much just some little "fish eggs" could this be from the exhaust, Everytime I have changed the lower unit oit there has never been water in it should I be ok? this is the first time I have ran it in the barrel. Ive always used muffs before.

Oil is coming from the exhaust. Pretty much normal. If the plugs aren't fouled, I wouldn't worry too much about it. If plugs are fouled then like Eshaw150 stated, running rich.
