Oil in water this normal or bad?

I have a 97 force 90 hp. The boat is pretty new to me so I do not know what is normal and am looking for advise. Two weeks ago I hit a rock and damaged the prop. I have replaced the prop and started the boat for the first time in two weeks. The engine smoked a little more than normal on start up but I figure that is simply from sitting unused for two weeks. While sitting in the slip and watching the motor idol I noticed some oil spots surfacing to the top of the water. These spots come up about pin hole size and expand to about a quarter inch. I know that since it is a 2 stroke that some oil will come out the exhaust. The problem is that last night is the first time I have seen the engine run on glass like water. All the other times I have been out there has been a lot of chop due to traffic. So I am curious to if the oil drops have always been surfacing but because of the chop I have never noticed or if I damaged something else when I broke the aluminum prop on the rock. Am I just being paranoid and noticing things more? I have not driven the boat yet just incase. I should also note that with the engine off no oil surfaces, it only happens when it is running hence why I figure it is just the oil in the exhaust but I wanted to be sure. It is not a ton of oil, I would say 50 droplets while running the engine for 2 minutes in idol.

Thanks for helping me set my mind at ease or for telling me I may have other problems.

That's normal to see those baby slicks, and yes, you probably would never see them in chop. This is why manufactures are getting away from 2-strokes. That is the good news.....

But any time You hit something,or run aground, you should inspect the L/U condition by draining and refilling the L/U, (using new plug seals of course), looking for anything that isn't black or translucent oil -- and by rotating the prop by hand to look for wobble, which would indicate a bent prop shaft.
