I finally got my project boat up and " running ". 2001 Mercury Sportjet 240. I seem to be having an issue with the oil injection system. Both tanks have plenty of oil in them. No trouble beeps. The oil seems to be entering the oil pump but not exiting to the VST. I pulled the bleed screw and oil is coming out. The clear oil line leaving the oil pump going into the bottom of the VST is empty. Any thoughts?
Like I said I just got this engine going. I had it running for a minute or two in the yard with the water hose connected to it... Shoulnt that line fill pretty much the instant the engine starts?
