Oil Injection

Happy new year everyone, I hope it is mostly spent on the water!<br /><br />I have a 50HP 1990 Yammy 50DETO. Testing the oil injection as per my Clymer manual I get 1.1 ml of oil where the book says I should get 1.4-1.8cc.<br /><br />Does anyone know the likely cause? I get the same on all cylinders which makes me suspect I may be up for a new pump.

The Yamaha manual also gives the same specs. A new pump could be in order. I would add some oil to the gas until I was sure.

Have you ever cleaned out the oil tank, filter, and/or replaced any of the oil lines?

Thanks for the feedback. <br /><br />I am currently running 100:1 in the fuel which should be enough.<br /><br />I have cleaned out the tank, filter and lines but not replaced any lines. Since all cyclinders have the same I can't see a common line that would cause the problem. Has anyone found lines could cause these symptoms?
