oil leak 76' 70hp seahorse

another problem has come up.. thick oil substance is leaking out from a centre hole in the back of the leg... whats happened?!?!!??! HELP!

Likely, your engine is running slightly rich. Are you using 50:1 mix? Many 2-strokes will drip out some "black gunk" after running. Check your lower unit lube to ensure it isn't part of the problem.
