Re: Oil Leak????

Welcome Tom - This could be either unburned oil from combustion or gear oil. You need to check the gear oil. If it is relatively clear and the gearcase is full you should be OK. Make sure you use new o rings on the vent & drain screw. If water comes out of the gearcase or the oil is milky in color then you have a leak in the gearcase. At that point you will need to roll up your sleves and fix it (get a shop manual at this point).

Just looking for a place to start.
