try clamping the oil level sensor w/ a tie strap or better yet use the curved- head tie straps used on outboard fuel systems. install the clamp over top of the small arrow aligning the sensor to the reservoir. you can also verify that your airbox cover is tightly attached w/ all screws and that the gaskets/rubber seals are in place and in good shape.
