Oil Misture for 40 HP 1999 Force

Can anyone tell me the proper oil to gas mixture for a 40HP 1999 Force? The motor has not run for 3 or 4 years. Is there any procedure I can do to kinda clean out the motor to make it run at top performance? Thanks, Wil Toole

50:1 mixture
that would be 2.6 ounces of oil per gallon of gas
or 16 ounces per 6 gallons of gas
