Oil mix for Evinrude 30HP

I have a 1994 30hp outboard. The previous owner told me it runs on a 100:1 mix, but the manual I have just got says it should be 50:1. Which is right?

Hi Alistair,<br /><br />50:1 should be it - trust the manual and use TWC-3 rated oil only.<br /><br />100:1 was used once upon a time, but '94 is way later...
