just bought a 1991 pro17 bass tracker with 60 engine, model number TE60TLEIB. The motor has a oil injected system but the seller stated he did not use it but used a 50-1 oil mixture..My question will this hurt the motor and is this the correct mixture ratio..

50-1 is the correct mixture. Same as whether you premix it, like the prior owner did or use the oil injection system that came on the engine. If he is premixing, he's disabled some of the factory oiling system. So if you go back to the original factory fuel/oil mixing system-make sure it is all re-connected and is operational before you run it.

The early 1990's VRO pumps are failing from age. When that happens, the engine gets no oil and the alarm goes off just in time to tell you that the engine is destroyed.

stick with pre-mix.
