Oil or sealer on new gaskets?

Hi all,

Just about to re-assemble the cylinder head on my 86 johnson 15hp. have new cylinder head gasket and water jacket gasket etc. Do you need to lightly oil or use any type of gasket sealant on these new gaskets when applying them?
