Can anybody give me a link to a oil pan drain that hooks to a hose that you can push through the rear of the boat. I only could find the one where you relocate the drain then hook to electric pump. I want the one where it just drains itself out a long hose...

This is the stock Merc one that I have on my 6.2. I don't know if it will adapt to your pan, but it is a pretty cool system as there is a tether on the end to a plug that replaces your bilge drain plug. You'll need items 12 & 22 - 26 although I do not recognize 26 . . . It requires the screw in type bilge plug.

Cobra 3.0,

that's the one I saw too, but wonder if it'll fit thru my plug hole. QC, that is more like it, but I thought iboats sold one specific. I did see one on summit but the hose was way too short.

Any more links?

Re: Oil pan drain line??

Adam,

The pic I linked does not do the hose length justice. Mine pulls out 3 - 4 ft. past the transom. Kinda coils up in the pan when the plug is in.

Also, the bilge drain plug is tethered to the hose and I can let the plug actually dangle from the hose while trailering. Nice little holder. That system is the easiest oil drain deal of anything, car, truck or boat. I warm it up, pull out the hose to a drain pan, pull the plug, and come back in a half-hour. Done deal.

QC,

Okay, I'll check with a marina. I was hoping to find part #'s or online link to it for sale to save some $$. I'll have mine on a trailer when I change the oil so figure it'll be the easiest way. Thanks.
