I have a remained 260 HP 4 bolt main. Three of the main bearing bolts have long studs is this for a windage tray. My old motor the windage tray is welded to the oil pan. The old pan hits these long studs and will not work.Do I need an oil pan with a seperate windage tray? Where can I find one? This is a 350 Chevy 2 peice #397000 Thanks

Wouldn't it be a lot easier to just remove the bolts one at a time, cut them off and retorque than trying to do it on the engine? That sounds kind of scarry.  <br />Or even better, save the old bolts with the studs on them and buy the correct length bolt.
