My oil pressure gauge reads 80 when I crank boat and at idle. As i start driving boat the pressure will drop a bit to about 60. I installed an oil sending unit from a auto parts store for the motor. I was wondering if there was a difference in auto and marine sending units for this.
Also when I started running my boat after rebuilding the motor the temps were around 120-140 with a 160 thermostat. I thought these were low. Now they are running more around 160-180. How much does water temps of lake effect temps of motor?
