oil pressure safety switch i

Has anyone ever hooked one up for the electric fuel pump? I have read that u add a tee and still use the old one is this tee just a set up from a hardware store bronze pipe etc. And why can't u just use the new three prong switch for the whole set up ?

I made mine from brass parts I purchased at Home Depot...

The switch (black unit) has 2 wires. It must have two terminals to work correctly. The brass colored unit is the gauge sender, with one blue wire.
