i was redoing the carb the other day and noticed that the oil connections on the carb, the hole is worn out... I decided to use the other hole on that same arm which is further up the arm... however, the oil pump is not at the correct position as it was if I used the original hole.... I then decided to adjust the plastic screw that attaches to the oil pump but is out of thread and the oil pump is not even close to the stopper... what do you guys suggest I do?
1. I can grind the metal bracket/rod that connects the pump to the carb for more room..
2. Do I need to adust the oil pump and if so is it safe to assume the oil pump sitting against the stopper is correct position for pump?
