oil pump question

hey guys. well parts finally came in for the oil pump eliminate kit. Was a pretty easy install but as always have a ?. 1993 merc. xr6 #od224097. I took everything off that i needed to complete the install. There is a oil return or overflow Im assuming that comes out of the block on the starboard side that goes to the main reservoir in the boat. should this be capped?

sounds like its the pressure line going back to the big tank in the boat.if so yes plug it

Thanks just wanted to make sure. I had already plugged it. Here is the parts and the part #'s if anyone needs the parts convert.

Parts List:

MERCURY OIL INJECTION BLOCK OFF # 43453

OIL INJECTION BLOCK OFF FOR MERCURY V6 2.0 / 2.4 / 2.5L ONLY. Does not include o-ring or bolts needed to complete assembly.

Oil Injection Block Off O Ring V6 2.0, 2.4, 2.5L #43454

Oil Injection Block Off Bolt V6 2.0, 2.4, 2.5L #43455 (need 2 bolts).

If you guys want I can post photos and directions how to do it. But like most of us we do our own work so most of us are pretty good with a wrench its a fairly easy install.
