Just wondering why so much oil to gas, it says 16-1 mix but that sure seems like alot of oil, why do all my chainsaws run on 50-1 and this motor has to run on 16-1 anybody know the answer let me no i cant understand it why such a big difference in the ratio all answers are greatly appreciated Thanks Goosemaster

The main difference is your motor doesn't use ball or roller bearings. But even the unit block powerheads use 16:1 and they use needle bearings.1970 and later motors specify 25:1.
