Oil supply check valve

While replacing my clear hoses on my oil injection I now notice that the check vavle going into the VST is leaking. After the motor has been run and then sits, gas seeps back into the clear tubing from the VST. Is this something that I should worry about, can it be cleaned? T

hello<br /> sounds like the check valve failed, the nipple at the bottom of the tank that the oil line goes into is listed on some models( I dont know about all) as a check valve. I would replace it. I cant remember if its a press fit or a thread fit. been a long time, but you dont want gas backing up into the oil.
