When I start the motor up after about 3 min's I get beeps from the buzzer every sec or two. I was told that this is a no oil warning from the oil tank. I disconnected the wires from the oil tank and still get the buzzer, If the problem is a tank problem should the buzzer no go of after I disconnected it from the wiring harness. Would a leaking oil hose also give me this buzzer. May have a air leak around the oil site tube. This is a 1990 Johnson 90 HP motor. (short beeps about every other second)

Re: oil tank question.

Solved the problem. I took the vro oil pump side of the VRO and pluged the line. Disconnect the 4 wire lead to the wiring harness, and removed the two wires to the oil tank. Thanks for all the help on other post on this subject. I will premix 50-1 not a big deal.
