I can get Yamalube 2m, Evinrude XD-50 for the same price. Which would be the best to use in a yammi 70 hp.

Re: Oil ?

I have been using the Yammi stuff since new and havent had any issue what so ever. No fouled plugs limited smoke, etc so its not a performance issue. Its just the fact that is easier for me to get the XD-50 and I alos heard that the XD-50 is actually a better oil.

The XD-50 oil is a blend, and will work just fine in your Yammie, you should be able to get it bulk at your dealer for near $15.00 a gallon if you bring your own container.

They are both good for your Yammie, use whichever will get you out on the water the most. Chief

Absolutly, use either one, whichever one you can get cheaper and easier.

Ben,

To add meat tenderizer to the beaten dead horse...

As I recall, you own/ run a resort. You probably go through alot of oil. This seems like a no brainer. Buy in bulk if you own a resort. You can usually get 30 gallon drums. Buy whichever is cheapest from the best dealer. Both oils will give you good service. I am guessing you will be able to get XD-50 at a better price in a 30 gallon drum. Bulk is a far cheaper option.

Re: Oil ?

I do own a fishing resort. This year we are using Yamalube form previous years using Esso. The problem is it is delivered to us in big batches pre mixed, so we dont have a barrel laying around.
I should just be done with it and convcert the thing to pre mix.
