oill and gas filters

Hi everyone !I want to know if the oil and gas filters for Mercruiser 3.7l 170 4 cyl engine are identical with the filters used for cars,because in the place I live no shop carries the Quicksilver products.Thank you!

No one can tell you they are identical.I suspect some company makes filters for them.But that same company could be making filters for me,but to my specs.

So I would buy original.You can order online.

Marine filter shells are typically a little thicker and a little more rust-resistant.

Fuel filter needs to be USCG approved
