I have a choice between a 2005 1448 alumacraft mod v,2005 mercury 25hp 2stroke tiller and a 2005 trailer all in showroom condition and there is only 6hrs on the whole rig and it shows.or a 2008 1442 alumacraft livewell flatbottom,2008 yamaha 25hp 2stroke tiller,and a 2009 trailer,this rig has 30hrs on it and in showroom condition.i have a big decision to make which one is the better value for the money,they are both $2700.00 the 1442 rig books at $4300 and the 1448 books at $3500 but has less hours.either way i am keeping the boat and trailer and selling the motor,my question besides what is the better deal is what would be the more desirable motor 25merc or 25yamaha.any help would be great making decision tommorow thanks.
