Well I went out to dinner at a seafood baffet at one of the casinos.. Was Ok, but at dinner there was this really nice older man sitting across from us. He was really nice and we were taking about gold mining in the trinity area and he knew some people that I too knew.. We were talking about fishing in the river also.. We'll as him and I were talking my date kept interrupting the conversation. Or should I say stepped right inbetween us.. It was so rude, I took my hand and moved his body to the side and real quickly said, don't be rude you'll get a turn.. The waitress that was next to us was trying not to laugh.. The 2 couples below were already laughing at my date of course.. Then most of the night he wouldn't leave me alone.. I was doing really good and he would show up and I would start loosing and to top it off, he started telling me how to play my machine.. The lady next to me just was laughing.. Her and I sat there and yep he came back, to tell me he hit a $8 dollars on a machine. OK, well you better go find another. Anyway he kept rubbing me for luck..YEK.. I have asked him in the past to not do that to me. Several times.. I finally ditched him and later ran into the same lady again and her husband.. She asked me if he found me yet, I'm like thank god no... Just as I looked up here he comes running up to me again, of course she is just laughing.. He was all excited about winning $70 dollars and I said great lend me 20.. No he was stupid enough to play it down to 40... Well go see if you can win 700 and then come back and tell me about it.. He rubbed me again for luck.. I might as well be a troll doll.. Of course the lady next to me was laughing, well I was too... I felt like I had a lost puppy dog with me.. Not to be mean or anything, it is just we have been out 4 times and all 4 times he has pulled this clingy thing with me. I wanted to just get home ASAP.. Lets just say, I didn't spend the night and I was home by 9pm. Just intime to watch "Trading Sponces", Did you guys see the show last night? Boy that religious freak was caring alot of toxic waist about her.. Not healthy at all and was a hippercrit to boot, in someone else home.. The other lady was stunk with her husband and their scruntinising friends..
I can't wait for the rest of the show.. I hope it is on tonite..
Thanks

That is two of the weirdest families I ever seen. Both are misfits IMO. Christian ladie friends are mean spirited and there husbands are lap dogs. The other family seems to be exploring all sorts of stuff in search of worldly power and enlightenment. Is that star a symbol for wickam or satan? They deny it and say its just a pretty star. Hard to swallow when there is a troll or goth figure in every corner. They are not up front.

Oh yeah, like KK said. Loser or not, you should payed more attention to your date at dinner and slots.

I did pay attention to him.. And he started the conversation with the old guy.. The guy was in his 70's... Anyway Ya, I can see the partner thing also, but i went as a friend not a partner. He was making sure to let people know he was with me also.. It was uncomfortable and I let him know that... Look you really had to be there to see the whole picture and you would understand a little better..
Ya, I do go single sometimes and I thought it would be nice to go out last nite with someone, but I see this isn't going to work.. I haven't been out for a long time, so ya it was weird on my part to have a 47yr man cling to me like a child...

ODDJOB you are right about paying attention to a date, but come on he just went over board with the touching part and ya, an open mouth kiss, several times... in a public place.. I would like to go back to that casino without the thought of being seen in public kissing a person that I really didn't want to kiss and I even told him that before we even went in the place.. A woman is not a pawling tool, or a kissing post and I thought I made that clear last nite.. He still insisted on doing it.. Well that is my last date with him.. believe me it won't happen again..
Thanks

I wonder if this guy is aware you are exchanging this information about him. "Open mouth Kissing" Did he pry your mouth open with a Screw Driver or a Harvey Wall Banger?

Believe me he didn't do this in the truck, so I thought everything was kool and no problems.. No he waited until we were in public to start this stuff with me..

The worst was I was so paraniod while playing the machines, I was constantly looking over my shoulder thinking he was going to pop out at me..

Look ! If all of you guys were there watching the fun, I'm sure you guys would of been balling (laughing) out loud at the action.. It was funny though..
I do believe that a man and a woman can go out with nothing expected... if you know what I mean..

He did call me this morning and said he had fun last night. Ya, torturing me.. :D It was a short conversation..
Magster is looking really good now :D ... I wonder if he's up to anything.. :D

BD,
I'v been on many dates with no bad intentions other then having a good time with someone who is full of life and knows how to have fun. If it didnt work out, then ohhhh well.....no hurt feelings and life goes on.....I know how you feel and can relate. It took me 3 years of being single b4 i got the nerve to go out and date.

BD
I know what your saying. I have a few gals here that I take to dinner occasionally. one, after the 4th time had plans to move in. maybe I should have said 4th and last time. seems some can go out and play as friends and others get possesive rapidly. but sometimes I hate eating alone so its worth picking up a tab now and again just to go play :)

Hey you already have a faithfull Goose!
Whats ya doing messing around with raunchy old men! ;)
Going out with friends was fun but I thought the dating thing sucked. In 8 years I think I went out on 4 dates. Two of them with Mrs.Link

But I also agree with KeltonKrew & DJ :D :D

Sorry it didn't turn out so well. Best of luck to ya on your next one Goose Lady! :p

Sorry to hear BD. Dating is always one of those hit or miss things. Very good or the titanic. One thing I have to warn you about, be careful up in that trinity area, some of the people are a little different. I have also heard there are some old miners back in the woods working their claims that don't want you near them and let you know with a shot across the bow. Quite a few crank mills up there as well. Be careful.

I am surprized you let the date go long enough for you to have to shower when you got home to get the paw prints off. Live it up as long as you can live it down. Within reason. :p

:D Didn't like him but hittin' him up for $20 was cool though? Sounds like four dates of mixed signals.

Re: OK... I went out on a dinner date..Hummmmm

its too hard to tell if your ignoring the fella or the fella is a pain. you sure have a lot of good traits, as far as what people here on iboats like to do. but how could a date with a guy who wasn't a blind date go so wrong?
and if you gave him openmouth kisses, then you must think he's ok.
i don't know B, i think you might be playing the teaser on that one. otherwise, you'd make it clear to the guy, and you'd be proud to see him gone... just my 2c

i usually can't access your pics, but the couple i've seen, you seem to be a pretty woman. you oughta pickup a quiet guy at the marina with a big $ boat ;)

take that crazy idea with a grain of sand :D

PS. i think any woman with the good stories that keep posting in a place like this can certainly find a good man, and if that man happens to have a good boat then its all good ;)
cause any man with a good woman will make it all work out for both of 'em. :D

PSS> pls don't ask me if that means that all men are good

Re: OK... I went out on a dinner date..Hummmmm

Pointer94... Ya, I know all about the Trinity Area. I did date a BLM Ranger a few years back.. Alot of those old home steads or claims were cleaned out/burned down, especially in the area of HWY 3 and 299.. The only bad area is in the HayFork area and the higher hills.. If you leave your vehicle alone for about 4hrs it will be stripped in about 10min... They will sit up in the hills with binoculars and watch you come in.. It is not a wise idea to mouth off at the locals either.. I usually stay in the Douglas City and Weaverville area.. I do the motel camping or if I know the camp host are in the douglas campground I will go there.. The locals usually leave me alone when I mention who I knew there.. They all grew up when TimberLodge was still around. The old minors are mostly replaced with the cookers. But like I said the BLM Ranger managed to do some well good clean-up around that area.. He has also managed to keep alive too.. Boy he showed me some really neat fishing spots, that not, to many people know about.. But if you have a BLM map you can find them quite easily.. I have an old BLM grid map somewhere in my junk.. Really different from your regular maps..

Skinnywater as for the $20, I was joking with him. I have my own money Honey.. He knew I was having fun with him... Hek I had a lady next to me just laughing her head off at the whole thing..
It was intertaining.. I make sure I always have my own money and I'm able to pay my own way.. I learned that along time ago.
You should be able to go out and have a good time with someone without them making you uncomfertable.. How would you like me to open lip kiss and touch you all over, when you ask me not to do that. I'm sure you wouldn't like it very much or maybe you would..

BD,

The last time I was in Hayfork, there were as many horses in town as cars, and the one restaurant in town (as best I can remember) had a hichin post - and not for looks. Lots and lots of the wildwood weed growing in those parts. Take a trip never leave the farm.
