I don't keep up with the strippers much anymore but..... the first reports of white perch fisherman getting stripped by big Rockfish should start turning up any day now. :joyous:

Inshore....Trout, Redfish, Pompano, Snook, and Tarpon fishing has been hot lately. Dolphin, Sailfish, and Cobia offshore.

I went diving yesterday in water temps in the upper 60's. The next few days may change this. The recent cold front is bringing lows in the 40's and high in the 60's. These fish will go to deeper water and be a little sluggish.

Looks like a good time to do some maintenance on the old Yanner.

OK....my friends....git back to your bickering....I'm enjoyin' it! I guess when summer gets here and some of my fishing slows down, you guys will be at it.

Not today, Richard. 43 here right now with strong north winds. I am currently holed up in the cabin sipping on a coffee and going over my "to do" list. At least I'm on the boat.

A good day to service the fishing equipment, do some more electrical work, and change the oil.

Conditions will improve starting tomorrow.

Heck, my boats still have over a foot of snow on them, I won't be boating until June!



Hell my plow truck won't be moving again until at least May!

This is the time of year I boat in moving water, which I much prefer. The barge is at the upholstery shop as we speak.
