OK to Comission?

When is OK to take your boat out of hibernation? I live in Kansas City, and it's been in the 60s during the day here, fairly consistently. However, occasionally at night it still does get down below freezing. Would it be OK to go ahead and Comission the boat, or do I need to wait longer?<br /><br />Thanks in Advance.

Hey brs517,<br />Are we talking outboard motors? If so, you're OK as long as you ensure all the water is drained out after use. Store with motor tilted fully down & the water will drain. Inboards & I/Os have other issues to worry about.<br />Backlash
